Presentation in English

After graduating from HEC Lausanne, I continue my studies on Educational Sciences (Lyon 2) until a Ph.D. in 2012 on politics, economics and sociology of Swiss and European higher education and research.

My main research interests are economics of education, the influence of neoliberalism on education and training, the influence of (post) New Public Management in education and training and ultimately holistic concept of quality of education systems.

I continued statistical studies that have led me to a degree in applied statistics and econometrics (Toulouse 1), a multivariate data analysis degree (CNAM) and a certificate of applied statistics ( Stanford, USA).

My Interests are sampling theory, the analysis of multivariate data and all the complex models that can be encountered in the field of education, namely parametric regression models and semi-parametric such that generalized linear mixed models (GLM(M)), generalized additive (mixed) models (GAM(M)), MARS regression, etc. Ultimately, I attach great importance to the statistical analysis of qualitative data and to different resampling methods (Monte Carlo simulation, bootstrap, jackknife, cross-validation, permutation/randomization tests).

I have been (2014-2016) Swiss expert at the College des Bernardins (Paris) for the seminar "School and Republic". My main mission was to create an indicator to measure the quality of educational systems of OECD countries. Using econometric models, it is interesting to ascertain, among other things, what is the impact of the quality of education systems on economic growth of different countries.
